Private Insurance & Extended Health Plans

‍We accept all major private insurance plans and Extended Health Benefits. Since coverage details, deductibles, and copayments vary between insurance providers and plans, we recommend contacting your insurance provider before your appointment to confirm:

• Your coverage limits for our services
• Any deductibles or co-payments that may apply
• Whether you need a physician's referral to qualify for coverage
• Any additional pre-authorization requirements

Direct Billing

‍While coverage amounts are determined by your insurance provider, we make the billing process as smooth as possible. Whether your insurance covers the full cost or only a portion:

• We provide detailed, itemized invoices for all services
• We submit e-claims directly to your insurance provider on your behalf
• We handle the paperwork for direct billing when available

‍If direct billing isn't available through your provider, we accept payment by cash, Interac (debit), Mastercard, and Visa. We'll provide a detailed receipt for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Options for Patients Without Insurance

‍At Vaughan Physiotherapy, we are committed to providing care to all patients, including those without insurance coverage or who are ineligible for OHIP. Our team will work with you to find the most manageable payment solution for your situation.

Senior's Program

‍We believe in making healthcare accessible for our senior community members. We offer special discounted rates for seniors aged 65 and above. Please visit our Senior’s Program page or contact our front desk staff to learn more aboutour senior wellness services.

Community Health Programs

‍Our clinic participates in the Primary Care Access and Treatment (PACT) program in partnership with Vaughan Community Health Centre. This program helps eligible Vaughan residents access healthcare services. If you live in Vaughan, our staff can help determine your eligibility for this program and assist with the application process.

For patients outside of Vaughan, we encourage you to inquire about similar programs at your local community health centre. Many GTA communities offer assistance programs for residents who need support accessing healthcare services.

Public Health Programs

‍The Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) covers some medical services. While ourspecific treatments aren't covered, we can refer you to OHIP-coveredalternatives when appropriate.

Tax Deductions for Medical Expenses

‍Our physiotherapy services are tax-free when paid directly by patients. You may be eligible to claim our services as medical expenses on your tax return, according to current CRA guidelines. Keep all receipts and payment records, and consult the CRA website or a tax professional for detailed guidance
