Physiotherapy

Optimize recovery and get back to doing what you do.

We provide clinically effective solutions to pain, injury management, and functional movement training.

What do physiotherapists do?

Physiotherapists are trained in manual therapy, exercise, education, and many other techniques to help patients recover from all sorts of injuries. Physiotherapy is a treatment for many medical conditions, it's relatively inexpensive and offers an alternative to surgery.

Our team of physiotherapy professionals use manual therapy, contemporary acupuncture, multi-modality therapies, and corrective exercises to help those suffering from physical problems arising from disease, illness, injury, and aging. They rely on their years of experience and training to understand your problem and create an optimal treatment plan for your recovery.

Vaughan Physiotherapy is dedicated to educating our patients and their families on how to lead healthy lifestyles that prevent injuries or make injury recovery easy. We can help you plan and implement safe and effective fitness programs, and they can help speed up your rehabilitation.

Our friendly staff are passionate to getting you back to moving your best

"Physiotherapy is treatment to restore, maintain, and make the most of a patient’s mobility, function, and well-being. Physiotherapy helps through physical rehabilitation, injury prevention, and health and fitness. Physiotherapists get you involved in your own recovery."

Does insurance cover Physiotherapy?

Yes, we accept most insurance plans including those associated extended health benefits, auto insurance from motor vehicle accidents, and work place injury claims (WSIB).

At Vaughan Physiotherapy Clinic, we understand navigating healthcare costs can be a hurdle. We're here to help!  Many Extended Health Plans cover physiotherapy, so check your plan details or speak with your Human Resources department. If you've been injured at work, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) may cover your treatment - we can even help you navigate the claims process.  Similarly, if you've been in a car accident, your auto insurance company may cover physiotherapy costs.

For your convenience, we offer direct billing to most insurance companies, making the financial side of your recovery as smooth as possible.
