Dariya Meremyanina

Starting as an undergraduate intern, Dariya has learned from and worked with the Vaughan Physiotherapy Clinic team for the past two years. In both clinical and sports therapy settings, Dariya has continued to grow her hands-on sideline and on-field physiotherapy and athletic therapy skills. Her time with the clinic has solidified her confidence in pre-game taping, hands-on assessment, acute sideline treatment, and emergency management.

Dariya is a second year physiotherapy student at the University of Toronto. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario with a BHSc in Health Sciences, with an Honours Specialization in Rehabilitation Sciences, and a Major in Psychology. She continues her professional development by completing certifications including Basic Life Support, First Responder, Advanced Movement Therapist Level 1, and Pelvic Level 1.

Outside of school and work, Dariya enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her friends, family and pets. She looks forward to completing her Master's degree in the coming year and getting to work professionally within an orthopaedic physiotherapy setting.
