Susie is a dedicated rehab assistant with a strong passion for rehabilitation, movement, and patient-centred care. She believes in working closely with her patients to understand what matters most to them and create treatment plans that support their goals. Her approach combines manual therapy, education, and individualized exercise to help patients feel more confident in their recovery and return to the activities they enjoy.
Susie obtained her Bachelor of Kinesiology and Physical Education from the University of Toronto before completing her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Throughout her clinical training, she gained experience across a variety of healthcare settings, working with patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and medical conditions. Susie has also developed a particular interest in geriatric rehabilitation and fall prevention, recognizing the importance of maintaining strength, balance, confidence, and independence as individuals age.
Outside of the clinic, Susie enjoys staying active and spending time in the community. She loves attending dance classes, playing pickleball and basketball, and staying active through running. During the summer, you can find her enjoying the outdoors or attending live concerts. Susie believes that staying active should be enjoyable and she brings that same philosophy into her approach to physiotherapy by helping patients find movement and activities that fit into their everyday lives.
